One platform, one sensor, one app
The staRT logger captures data right next to the artwork and transmits it via Bluetooth to the staRT monitor app, which manages alert reporting and geolocation; the staRT gate takes over communication when Bluetooth alone isn’t enough, feeding the staRT web platform to build each artwork’s augmented passport.

The gateway
For transport where direct Bluetooth reception between the sensor and the application is difficult (cargo hold, container, enclosed vehicle), the staRT gate gateway relays communication between the staRT logger and the staRT monitor app. Available for rental as a sensor add-on.

The staRT logger connects via Bluetooth (BLE 4.2 minimum) to a smartphone or tablet equipped with the staRT monitor app, which transmits real-time alerts and geolocation from the sensor.
